DAY 01 ARRIVE - NAIROBI
Arrival at JKI Airport where
you will be met and transferred to Laico Regency Hotel.
Just a 10-minute walk from Central Park and Teleposta Towers, LAICO
Regency Hotel offers 5-star luxury Nairobi hotel accommodations. You'll also be within a short walk of City Market
and Jeevanjee Gardens.

– MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Depart for Masai Mara National Reserve.
1300 hrs
Arrival for lunch at Mara Fig Tree Camp/ Mara Sopa Lodge.
Afternoon at leisure.

Evening game drive.
A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of
millions of wildebeests, zebra, and gazelles from the Serengeti plains across
the Tanzania border and Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields. The
dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can
be viewed early June to August. The Mara has got also thousands of species of
bird life and plant life.
1830 hrs Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and then
overnight.
DAY 03
MASAI MARA NATIONAL
RESERVE
0630 hrs
Depart for a morning game drive.
0830 hrs
Return to the camp/lodge for a full buffet breakfast.
Morning spent at leisure.
1230 hrs
Buffet lunch at the camp/lodge.
Afternoon spent at leisure.
You can relax at the swimming pool or visit a
traditional Masai Village.

Depart for an evening game drive.
Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the
most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is located in
the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.
Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western
escarpment.
The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife
viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5
million animals arriving in July and departing in November.
There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and
reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.
Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this
reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant,
leopard, lion, and rhino).

MARA – LAKE NAIVASHA

Depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha.
1300 hrs
Arrival at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch.
Afternoon
spent at leisure.
Lake
Naivasha is a freshwater lake in the Kenya section of Africa’s Great Rift
Valley, and is located north west of Nairobi with the town of Naivasha on its
north eastern shore. At 1,890 meters (6,200 ft) above sea level, the lake is at
the highest point in the Kenyan rift, and is set in a complex geological
combination of volcanic rocks and sedimentary deposits from a much larger
Pleistocene era lake.
Because the
outlet for this ancient lake, now called Njorwa Gorge, is today much higher
than the lake, the original Lake Naivasha must have indeed been a truly vast
expanse of water. The gorge now forms the entrance to the Hell’s Gate National
Park which, for obvious reasons, today contains some spectacular examples of
water and weather-worn rock formations as well as an abundance of flora and
fauna to include some extremely rare, resident breeding pairs of Lammergeyers,
otherwise known as Bearded vultures.

DAY 05 LAKE
NAIVASHA – ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK
0630 hrs Buffet breakfast at the lodge.
0730 hrs Depart after breakfast for Aberdares National Park.
1230 hrs Arrival for lunch at
Aberdare Country Club which is the base hotel for the Ark.
Afternoon
transfer to The Ark.
