Travelodge slashes price of hotels to as low as £29 a night at popular UK Christmas market destinations

The budget hotel company has released 300,000 rooms at low fares until December
IT MIGHT not even be November yet, but Travelodge has already caught the festive bug.
The budget hotel company has released 300,000 rooms from £29 in the UK’s top Christmas market locations.

There are also family rooms available for £35, which works out at £8.75 per person.
Locations where the hotel chain is offering the deal include Bath, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Coventry, Brighton, Southampton, Swansea and Cardiff.
To book, customers should head to the website – the offer ends on December 24.
The UK hotel group has had a busy year – it is looking to expand its offerings in several different parts of the UK, including London, Birmingham and Weston.

They also launched their premium economy rooms — the new SuperRooms include branded coffee machines, three-jet power showers, mood lighting and larger desks with swivel chairs.
Travelodge invested around £5million in the initial launch of 1,000 SuperRooms this year –aimed at the business travel market.
Business customers account for more than half of all Travelodge sales and contributed to a healthy rise in profits last year.
Revenues rose 6.8 per cent to £597.8million in 2016, with operating profit hitting £110.1million, up £5million on the year before.
Travelodge boss Peter Gowers said: "We are used to airlines offering a ¬premium economy cabin that bridges the gap between traditional economy class and an expensive business-class offer.
“We wanted to bring that same choice to budget hotel guests.”
